What is the Computerized Maintenance Management System?
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) provide an easy to use asset management program for public safety agencies, critical services industries, government contractors, and state, federal and military facilities.
CMMS provide Public Safety agencies with critical management tools for maintaining employee safety and the general public’s well being by documenting the maintenance, inspection and certification of life saving equipment. Additionally, enhanced contractor managed or self-managed assets and maintenance management provides critical and asset intensive industries ROI while decreasing cost of operations.
CMMS provides for facility or contractor managed operations while providing global access for administrative or supervisory staff. View and manage multiple facilities domestically or internationally.
The CMM-sys program aids agencies and clients in controlling preventative maintenance and equipment service by:
Automatically Controlled Scheduled Maintenance.
Preventative maintenance is controlled by a maintenance schedule. This schedule is determined by equipment specifications and generated by the service provider upon award of a maintenance contract. The program will automatically generate work orders for scheduled maintenance and notify the agency officer in charge of the equipment and the contracted service provider that maintenance work is due.
Offering "On Demand" Manual Work Orders and Service Reqisitions.
The program allows the agency to create manual work orders which can be generated when equipment requires service outside of its' maintenace schedule. Manual work order progress can also be monitored with work order tracking. In the case of work performed outside of contract requirements the program allows service providers to invoice for materials supplied and services rendered.
Providing Detailed Equipment Listing and Comprehensive Service Reports
Each item listed in a miantenance schedule contains detailed item information including product image MSDS documentation, technical information, location and seervice history. The service history is updated after every service performed. Agencies can monitor equipment maintenance and service with detailed maintenance reports that provide comprehensive information for all service events on agency equipment.
